Meet The Team - Kay Perry
Kay is an Account Manager in the Medway, Tonbridge and Dartford postcodes of Kent. Her customers include primary and secondary schools, nurseries and early years childcare providers.
Q: Hi Kay, how long have you been working for KCS?
A: I joined the team in October 2016, coming from a sales role in the financial sector, and have loved it since day one.
Q: What do you do on a day-to-day basis?
A: As an Account Manager I travel around my sales area, visiting bursars, finance managers and teachers, whilst also speaking to as many customers as I can via email or telephone.
Q: How do you make your customers’ lives easier?
A: My main aim is to help them save money! I’ll visit up to 10 people a day and will talk to them about our products and current offers, and also listen to any challenges they may be experiencing. I’m here to make their lives as stress-free as possible at the end of the day.
Q: What inspires you about your job?
A: Being able to help every single one of my customers is what keeps me going! The education sector can be quite tough sometimes, with challenging budgets and ever-growing headcounts, so if I can be on hand to resolve any issues and make savings for my schools so they can afford to spend money in areas that may otherwise get overlooked, then I can go home happy.
