Nominations are now open for the Sussex Teacher of the Year Awards 2021
We at KCS support the KM Charity Team in delivering the Sussex Teacher of the Year Awards and we would love your help in spreading the word to everyone in your school and community to nominate a member of your school staff.
This is not a popularity contest, it’s not measured on the number of votes, it’s judged by a panel of judges who read the content of every entry and then have the difficult task of selecting the winners.

Ten Reasons to Celebrate Teachers
The normal role of a teacher (if there ever was one) has been shaken and stirred. So in case you’ve forgotten - never forget that you (yes, you!) do a vital, essential, brilliant and important job, and deserve to be celebrated.
Teaching is rarely plain sailing, but this year has been something else. You’ve adapted, discovered new talents, worried, worked your socks off – had some highs, and a few wobbles. You’ve obeyed rigid rules and experienced crippling uncertainty. And all the time, felt deep concern for your pupils’ welfare and learning.
