How we are supporting Schools come opening Day
‘How are you, and how can we help?’ This is the question our Sales team has been asking to over 3000 customers a week.
Many schools have remained open for key workers children and we appreciate the difficulties teachers are now faced with, in adapting to never before seen changes to their working environments and personal lives.
To support the home learning challenges faced by thousands of parents, we have developed a new website www.kcsconnect.co.uk providing parents access to our full range of educational supplies and free downloadable class worksheets and colouring sheets. Our schools have been delighted to share this with parents to help them entertain, engage and home school their children.
We have also been explaining to customers how we are working to provide vital PPE to care homes, GPs and other social care settings. This is something we are immensely proud of and customers are happy to share in the news, which is something everyone can relate to in these uncertain times.
We are already helping customers prepare for when they return. Whilst we all anticipate the full government guidelines and timescales, we understand there will be a “New Normal” and social distancing, PPE and good hygiene will be a key factor in keeping children and staff safe in their learning environments. As such we have been supporting them to procure vital items such as PPE, hand sanitisers, floor marking tape and new furniture solutions to accommodate this.
We are still adapting to remote working with our sales teams now all based from home, and are embracing new technologies and methods to continue to provide the same level of interaction and personalised service.
Strong relationships with our customers and colleagues are vital to our success in providing an exceptional service.
To help our schools support staff, who we know are also transitioning from office to home-based working we have moved quickly to develop ordering guides and support tools to make their lives easier when collating large orders, as we move into the traditional summer period, this has been really well received.
Overall customers have been really pleased to hear from us and to know that we are here to help, in what are exceptional times for all.
