The KM Charity Team organise the annual celebrations for our hardworking school and teaching staff and KCS are delighted to have supported the Kent, Sussex and London awards since 2017.
The Teacher of the Year Awards recognise the dedication and expertise of teachers, leadership and support staff at schools and colleges, with winners awarded across both categories including primary, secondary and further education, newly qualified and support staff and volunteers.
The awards are designed to reflect the invaluable contribution that educators make to all sectors of society, with the winners chosen by a team of judging partners comprising businesses, third-sector organisations and two of the county’s universities.
Winners are usually announced in local ceremonies in the autumn, including an awards dinner with a fundraising element, and all proceeds raised from the awards go to literacy and road safety projects in the region. This year the awards ceremonies will be held remotely, with video sessions attended by nominees and partners.
