A fun way to learn about the power of sunlight. Pupils are able to carry out fun experiments investigating solar radiation, effectiveness of sun cream and sunlight. A science activity guide is included and allows children to carry out scientific investigations and learn about the effects of the sun on their health.
-Observe radiation from the Sun at different times of the day
-Test the effectiveness of glass in blocking the Sun's rays
-Test the effectiveness of different SPF sunscreen
A bag of white beads which turn into many different colours when exposed to an ultraviolet light source. Ideal for observing UV radiation from the Sun. Beads are drilled so that they can be threaded onto pipe-cleaners or string for making bracelets. A great way to raise awareness of the health issues associated with exposure to the sun.
