A truly versatile resource, this quality wooden multi maths set will take learners from early number recognition, counting and ordering skills, through to subitising, addition, subtraction and number bonds.
Count by feeling the grooves or placing objects in them, turn it over to see the corresponding number or to self-check your counting skills. Explore one more and one less in a visual and practical way, and order from 0-10/smallest to largest, or vice versa. Use different coloured objects to fill the holes and see how many different ways you can subitise. Investigate number bonds to and within 10 and explore part, part, whole, using a Singapore Bar style method.
There are so may different ways to use this maths manipulative, it grows with the child as their understanding deepens. It is double-sided, allowing the learner to explore using physical objects or more abstract numerals, and self-check their workings.
