2. Place the two stocking shapes on top of each other and using the yarn sew around the outside of the stockings except for the top.
3. Cut out a white felt rectangle the length of the top of the stocking.
4. Sew the rectangle onto the top of the stocking.
5. Cut out festive shapes from felt and sew these on to the front of the stocking to decorate it.
6. Sew a peice of yarn through the top of the stocking leaving a loop before sewing it through the back of the stocking in order to create a loop to hang the stocking.
